	JUNK PRODUCTS - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I have the PD-500 and it lasted about 9 months. It still plays CDs, but states "WRONG DISC TYPE" when I try to play DVDs. I called [No Such] Customer Service and was told to remove the battery for about 2 hours, then replace it and it would work OK . . . NOT!! My girl at the time had an Apex without..		15 Jun	--	--
	Breaks Down -- Warranty No Good! I agree with all the other comments about this product not lasting very long. Ours worked fine for about a year then suddenly stopped playing for no reason. I called customer service and was basically told I was out of luck!..		11 Nov	--	--
	Mine only lasted 7 months, they won't honor warranty! Apex may be an inexpensive alternative for those of us on a small budget, but mine broke within 7 months and they won't honor the one year warranty. 	Apex Digital should be sued Apex Digital products often fail within the first year. They have horrible customer service, false advertising, and fail to honor their warranties. 	Seems pretty good so far I got this Apex PD500 for "free" for buying some Lane furniture. It is my first portable, and so far it seems OK. Constructed a little cheaply, but it does work fine with a decent picture and OK sound (have not tried with headset yet). 	DON'T BUY!!! I just want to warn you about this companies equipment. They don't stand behind it at all. So far I have owned 2 of their prodects and neither one has lasted 1 year. 	Great for the money This is my second portable DVD player. Just wanted an extra unit for the kids and for the money this one is great. It has many of the features of the more expensive units. 	Great buy for the money Got this unit 1 week ago ,it works great and the price was lowest of any like unit. It has many features such as video/audio in and out, S-video and 3 power sources plus a remote control. Only Neg is the sound from the small speakers but with headphones it is fine...		30 Aug	--	--
