I have the PD-500 and it lasted about 9 months. It still plays CDs, but states "WRONG DISC TYPE" when I try to play DVDs. I called [No Such] Customer Service and was told to remove the battery for about 2 hours, then replace it and it would work OK . . . NOT!! My girl at the time had an Apex without the screen and she says hers lasted about 6 months. You're right APEX should be sued. All they are doing is collecting enough money to fix the known problems they have in their shoddy engineering for their next generation of products, which of course I and everyon I know will not purchae.
