Good player - Bad battery

I bought this player well over a year ago. I have not had one problem with the player itself. The picture is great and the sound is good. The battery never lasted very long though. It developed "memory" and won't last more than 10 minutes. I may invest in another batter and try it again, but am just as happy using the car adapter to play it. It's a lot lighter that way!
