If you are looking for compatibility it is here from VCD to CD-RW. However, it is not really portable because it is heavy and need to use AC or DC adapters for it to work. It sound's great and picture is pretty good. I don't like that when you put in wrestling DVDs it is hard to get to the main menu you have to fast-forward it instead of pressing the menu button. If you don't mind these annoyances it is a great product.
