A versatile portable DVD player, but I lost my remote

While we've used this one mainly on trips it also has the hook-up cables for connecting to a TV whenever we want a larger picture and better sound. The widescreen give a great picture. We like it. However, I lost my remote control while on a weeklong trip to Myrtle Beach, SC and I hope to locate a replacement. While the DVD unit can be operated with controls on the player itself a remote control would make it more enjoyable. Can anyone help with the remote problem?
