I bought this portable dvd player for my boyfriend as a christmas present. The picture quality is amazing! We traveled with it and haven't had any problems, even while on a bumpy car ride. If you are watching a movie in a quiet room you will hear fine but if you have kids or have background noise it wont be loud enough. I would recommend buying a cheap pair of speakers because it really makes a difference. I bought a $10 pair of coby speakers and they work great.
I did some homework before purchasing this and found out this is one of the few portable dvd players that has AV in and out. Meaning that you can plug in your digital camara to see your pictures or you can plug the portable dvd player up to your tv to watch a movie on the bigger screen. This dvd player also has two headphone jacks on either side so that two people can listen to a movie. This is a great feature especially for flying. This portable dvd player is the best for the price. I would highly recommend this, you wont be disappointed.
