I bought this player primarily to watch DVDs while on flights and it certainly does the job well. The picture quality is excellent and the battery charge lasts long enough to view 2 movies. I spent several months of research before I decided on this one which had the best picture for the price. I saw a Philips that I really liked but it was too big (10" screen). I really liked the features of the 8.9" Toshiba but the off-angle viewing was horrible!!! This LS90 has some good features..
