After watching this unit, I had to visit the emergency room because I had a migraine headache. After the examination Dr. Smith (I will choose to hide his identity for privacy.) told me that my ocular reactions where delayed. He asked me what I had been doing in the past week that could potentially cause a problem like this. I told him I was watching my Polaroid PDV-0700 7" Portable DVD Player. He asked me to bring this DVD player with me on my next appointment and told me not to view it anymore. Brought the DVD player and after analysis we discovered that the video is delayed with the audio by a fraction of a second. This causes the brain to compensate for the delay after extended viewing and when you don’t watching objects in the “real world” are now delayed because of the compensation. Therefore the headache, I have stopped watching my DVD player and I have never had this problem again. Although the doctor told me that any more extended prolonged exposure could cause major damage.
