I have had two of these units since Feb 2005. The first had the power switch fail within the first month. Amazon.Com replaced at no charge. The replacement unit arived March 2005. The DVD door broke in September. Polaroid will not exchange without the unit, packaging, reciept, and US$50.00 being sent to them first. Both units were handled very carefully by an adult. Flimsy unit backed by flimsy warranty coverage. Do not buy this DVD player.
