Information for buyers!!
I just read the manual which very clearly says that this system cannot play any DVD+R ,DVD-R DVR+RW or any DVD that you have burn't using your DVD Burner.
It can only play JPEG only from a CD-R. So basiclly a crippled player.

Confused
OK, now I am confused. There have been both pro and cons for this product and completely opposite. I love the price but if the negatives are so intence, then may be I should wait. Dan, I'm with you, I would someone that has troubles with this product to email me and explain their discontent.

Don't buy this model
I have tried this beofre, the antenna is not a good one which caused the GPS drop the line from time to time. The map is really old which caused me a lot of trouble, especially in DC area. Now I ahve changed to another brand for much less money with the newest map inside.. Also it is too big to put..

Very versatile
A prior reviewer indicated the map that comes with this is older, but I guarantee you that it will get you to 99.9% of the places you need to go if you travel quite a bit.
