Well, in general I would say that this is a great DVD player... It had all the features I wanted, great sound quality, great picture... at least the one in the store did. I bought the SDP1600 a few weeks ago while visiting in Illinois, then brought it home to Michigan only to find it had a dead pixel. So we shipped it back to the relatives we were visitng, had them exchange it and send the new one back to us... And guess what that one had?? A dead pixel... I sat on hold for Toshiba for a half an hour and finally hung up. Sent them an e-mail that has yet to be responded to. So needless to say, we're paying the 15 dollars to ship it back to IL to have it returned. I'm not saying they are all going to be like this, but to spend 200 + dollars on a dvd player that both have dead pixels is a little rediculous...
