We bought this DVD player before moving overseas with the military. We have a very rough [...] boy who has kicked, thrown, tossed, dragged, dropped, and done almost everything you can imagine to the player. It still works GREAT!!!! We have taken it on several trips between the US and Europe and traveled all around Europe with it. Its been a life saver. The volume is a little low at times, but nothing to be concerned over. The outside of the player is very scratched up now, but it still works perfectly. The picture quality is excellent, the controls are easy to figure out, and we have been very satisfied. We are now puchasing a second one for our [...] son. The DVD player does get warm in insulated cases, but we put it in the handle on the back of our Honda Odyssey driver seat, and it's the perfect size! It comes with a car adapter, and the wall charger is dual voltage. We can get almost 4 hours of play time from 1 battery, but have puchased several extra for plane trips. The extra batteries are around $50.
We have purchased other brands of DVD players before, but the Toshiba is the best deal by far, and we couldnt be happier with it.
